First, I must say that the book was not anything what I expected. It was much better. I've run across this book in bookstores several times in the last six months, but I wasn't very interested. It's been even in my reader for a while before I decided to finally read it. And there are couple big factors why I was "avoiding" this book; the title and the cover of this book. Personally, I'm a reader who ofter chooses book by it's cover and title. If the title and the cover aren't nice, I often don't necessarily even read the book synopsis. And I'm sure that there are many great books, that I've missed because of it. But since I use the library a lot and there's so much choise, I need some way to limit my options... So.. I think the name of this book is stupid and the cover isn't particulary interesting either. So, I would say that my expectations were not very high.
I am pleased to say that I was positively surprised. The book was much better than I imagined. I don't actually agree with the book slogan "The sexiest romance you'll read this year..", but yes, I liked the book very much and yes, there were sexiness. (But I've read a lot sexier romance this year)
I especially likes the characters in this book. Violet is not a damsel in distress (even if she kinda is), but she's strong and stubborn and spunky. She is attracted to Kaspar from the fisrt moment, but is she willing to engage in her desires? No. What about when Kasper shows some interest? Still no. Attraction and sexual tention is there, but it takes a while before Violet finally surrenders. And I think it's great. Why? Because I don't believe in love at first sight. I have been really annoyed in many, many books by the fact that the couple meets, they fall in love and week later they're married or something. WTF? It does not happen in real life. Or at leats it's really really rare. Books do not need, of course, to be realistic, but I think those "love at first sight" stuff are ofter pretty annoying.
And what about Kaspar? I loved him immediately, of course, because I'm always with the bad guys. But who doesn't love them? He is honest about who he is, and he doesn't apologise. And he doesn't chase Violet like a puppy. Of course, there's always some kind of redemption or something like that, but again, it does not happen over night or just like that. Karpar really is honest about himself.
The whole Dark Heroine thing seemed a bit vague at first, but it was revealed little by little towards the end and conveniently in small pieces so that the interest towards the book remained. You really needed to read a little bit more if you wanted to know I little bit more. Maybe it's 'cos author published this originally online one chapter at a time, so she wanted to keep readers interested. I'm still not fully decided what I think about this series, but this opening book was certainly a great start, and I really hope that the quality is as good in upcoming books too. I'm definally adding the next in my tbr-list too and I'm waiting excitedly what the future holds for this series. I think that there is major potential in this one.

Another great book from Marissa Meyer.
The book starts with an introduction of our new character Scarlet, who is looking for her grandmother and meets this mysterious guy Wolf. I was little bit more conserned about Cinder and Kai, but pretty quickly I started to wonder how Scarlet fits into story, and how she and Cinder would meet etc.
And stroy is pure genious. There are so complex and deep story and flawless backstory. Everything fits together perfectly and we meet to new characters along Scarlet; Thorne and Wolf.
And just as in Cinder, here too Meyer has takes classic Little Red Riding Hood story and makes it completely her own. The base is there and then she has really shaken things up and the final product is perfect. And again, there are some funny details like Scarlets red hoodie.
I really must confess that this was one of those books that I just couln't stop reading. I was reading like a madwoman and I just needed to finish it. And it was great. It was amazing. And the ending... GO, CINDER, GO! Yes! It's unbelievable that she's just sixteen. She is a teenager who has been through a lot and she has managed to grow such a great and strong character and I can't wait to see how she's going to beat Levana.
Please, please, please.. I need to get Cress like NOW. Like yesterday. I would to anything to get ARC. Do you hear me? Anything!

First of all... Sorry Richelle Mead, but I don't like the cover. I just don't like it. But luckily I love all your books, so I'm willing to forgive you. But just so you know, the cover is horrible. I know that there are lots of people who love it, but I'm not one of them.
Secondly.. I'VE BEEN WAITING THIS BOOK SO LONG AND IT'S FINALLY HERE. Yej!! Finally!!
I couldn't wait, so I read it as soon as possible. It took me only few hours. And now it's over and now I need to eait yet another book.. Nooo... But maybe I can manage, I have to.
But about this book. Sydrian. Finally. Love it, love it, love it! The plot thickens and things start to really heaten up and I think that things are just waiting to explode. And as you can see, it happened. The ending was so tradig. So sad. Awful. No, no, no!!I think I need a little moment to really cry.
But the book was absolutely amazing. I have no other word for it. I loved every minute of it. The ending was pretty sad and awful and everything, but it did it's job. I just can't wait to read next book. The waiting is going to be torture. Really. I love this series so much.

Jane Jameson is a former librarian, who gets shot by a drunk driver and then turned to a vampire. She struggles with her new immortality and place in her new worlds. And of cource she makes some enemies, even if she doesn't even know it herself (at first).
I loved it. It was hilarious. I loved it so much and it was so funny, that I couln't stop laughing while reading. I propably looked like a lunatic. There were so many so funny things, that there weren't many moments when I wasn't laughing.
First I thought that this was little bit like Sookie Stackhouse series, but I was wrong. This is so much better. SO MUCH. And it was that similar after all. That was just a first impressions.
And the ending was quite surprising. At least I thought so. There were moments when I had pretty strong suspect, but I wasn't really sure, so the things that happened in the end were surprising. So what more should I say.. This was really refreshing book to read, it's been a long time since I've read this funny book. It was great to really laught once a while.
This is the first book in Jane Jameson series, and I'm pretty sure that I'm going to read the rest of the books too. The writing is really funny and frest and just great. What more can one say?

Another great story from Tammy Blackwell.
This series keeps surprising me. This is one series for a long time, that I can't think anything bad. It's written wonderfully and the characters are amazing. Everything is nicely balanced.
The beginning of the book is almost debressing. Thing just don't look very good. But not in a bad way. At first (and very long after too) I was sure that Alex really can't be dead. I kept waiting for him to pop up somewhere. Because that just can't happen. One of the main characters can't just die. They always come back. Not this time thought. Alex really is dead. And it's good. I mean, I love Alex as a character, but this was really refreshing. The supposedly dead characters usually just come back somehow and everything is just one big happy moment. And even if Alex is dead, he was still part of the story. Still dead and not coming back, but beautiful part of the story.
The plot is clever combination of everything I want from great book. Characters are well written and everyone has their own role. The story just gets better and better. In a way it's sad that the next book will ne the last in this series, 'cos this is one of the best in a long time.

Wow. Just wow. Unbelievable. Hot. Sexy. Sometimes even too sexy and hot. I'm not complaining, but I can say that there is this one scene that I think went a little overboard. Just a little.
But I loved, loved, loved the characters. And the story is amazing. I would compare this series to J.R. Wards Black Dagger Brotherhood. They're pretty similar series both. So my absolute favourites. In this series there are werewolves and BDB is about vampires, but you get what I mean. But the wibe was similar and they're both really hot. And sexy. Did I mention that already? HOT HOT HOT!
The next book is my absolute next-to-read book and I really hope that this series has bright long future ahead. And many many many more books. ♥
If there any downside, it's the cover. I think that it's absolutely horrible. Just awful. Ok, there are hot couple, moon, wolf and mountains. All fine elements.. But together? Mess. Awful mess. But don't judge this book just because the cover is horrible. If you want something steamy, something sexy and if you like BDB, this series is MUST read!

This book hooked me right from the start. Balanced combination of mystery, action and romance. Many times characters in these kinds of books are just plain stupid and naive, when they don't realise what happens right around them, when it's so obvious. Not in this book. I think that characters seemed real, and genuine. I didn't get this feeling, that I should just shout, "Idiot! Why can't you see what's happening?!"
I loved almost every character; Scout is amazingly strong female lead and Alex is just HOT etc. I don't like Jase, he's a completely moron. And I really felt sorry for Charlie.
There just enought information and cliffhanger that I really need to read the next book as soon as possible. I need to know what happens next and how Scout fits in the whole supernatural scenario.

The book was great. It was well written and the characters were great. But I just hate that every time the heroine it just too dumb to realise the truth. Ok, I propably wouldn't believe in vampires at first either, but there were so many clues and still she didn't figure it out. Aaagh... She never even thought about it.
I love Alice, but I'm not sure about the love triangle between Alice, Jack and Peter. Right now I don't like Peter at all, but maybe that will change. I hope not. I hate when there are love triange and I love all the characters. Someone end up alone in the end. I just hate it. And right now I hope that Alice will end up with Jack and Peter can go to hell. But I have this bad feeling, that that's not going to happen. Well, I just need to read the next book and hope for the best.
This was great start for this series, I'm completely hooked. Well done! :D

The first thing I loved about this book, was the cover. I think it's amazing and lovely and something about it just appeals to me. It's simple, yet so beautiful. And I love the colours. I mean, look at it. It's perfect, itäs so balanced and everything. And the lips... ♥♥
And then I started reading. Loved it. But I didn't have the chance to read 1.5 novella Summer Night, so the beginning of this book was really confusing. I'm mean really. I quickly figured it out, but first I was like "What? I don't get this."
If I understood correctly, the novella is pretty much important part of the story, so if was kind of stupid, 'cos I couldn't read it. Somehow I just missed it.
But overall the book was amazing. I loved every page of it. I was well written and the characters are amazing as was in the first book. Luckily now I have the chance to read the next novella, so I don't miss anything.
But I love, love, love this series. Seriously. Read it! Lizzy Ford is amazing author and I'm looking forward to read more her books.

I've read a lot of bad reviews about this book and most of them I understand. I understand why people don't like this book, 'cos there are lot of clichees. The characters are sometimes so stupid and naive that you hope that you could smack them in the head. But I liked the book. It was sometimes stupid, yes, and were lot of things that made you angry. And it wasn't ever nearly realistic. But this is a book. It's allowed to non-realistic.
Sometimes the writing was just bad, but I liked the story. There were lot of details that were stupid, but the idea behind the book was nice and I liked it. I'm not really picky and there aren't lot of books that I don't like. And I absolutely love there "doomed" love stories and bad boys. ♥ And there were lot of moments when I hoped that I could draw. There amazing scenes that I imagined in my head, they would be lovely fanart. If only I could draw.

First I thought that the book was kind of stupid. Or that Kate was stupid. And maybe a little cliché. There was this girl whose mother was dying of cancer and she wanted to see her hometown for the last time. Ok, it was sad, but still.. couldn't there be anything more original? Then there is this "evil popular girl" who does some prank and dies and Kate agrees to do "anything" to save her, so Henry saves her life. Who does that? I wouldn't. She was a total stranger to Kate. And a mean girl..
Ok, well. Next thing is the Persephone myth. I think it's odd that Kate is willing do accept without questions that Henry brought Ava back to life and that she made a deal with Henry. Like those myth and everything is normal life. But after that she can't accept that Henry is really a god and it's all real.
But when I read further, I really began to like to book. Or love the book. I think that this is my new favourite series. Or one of them. I'm definally reading the next book strait away.

Love the cover. Really. It's amazing. ♥
First I must say that the first half of the book was boooriiing... Nothing happened. Story just felt really flat. Few times I even considered skipping few chapters. But hang in there, it really does get better. About half way through there's finally some action and sense. And BANG. Ending was pretty action-packed and even pretty sad and emotional. First I hated the book and then finally I loved it.
Although I loved the book, it still seemed like some "between book" before the last book and the final battle. Ok, we learned a lot and there were some pretty emotional things and we lost someone and stuff, but I think that nothing really major happened. Can't really explain what I mean, but something was missing. Maybe it felt like the book wasn't finished. Like there should have been more. Like this book was only a tease before the finale...
